Hi folks! Welcome to smartsteelbuilding.com. I have developed this website to share my knowledge on steel structures and offer my services for structural design and consultancy.
I am a researcher in steel structures at the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. I have Ph.D. in structural engineering with main focus of research on earthquake response of steel buildings. I have more than 5 years of experience in structural modelling and design on various types of building structures (metal houses, steel framed building, RC buildings).

CONSULTANCY/DESIGN PROJECTS
Damage Evaluation of fire damaged building mainly including non destructive testing of fire exposed columns
Design of single family residential units in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona, USA. All units were designed with light gauge steel framing in Framebuilder-MRD. Three different types of designs were made: Double storey residential unit with duo pitched rood, an A-frame cabin, and container box design.
