Dr. Sarmad Shakeel

I am Assistant Professor in Structural Engineering at National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. I have Ph.D. in Structural Engineering with main focus of earthquake response of steel buildings. I have more than 5 years of experience in structural modelling and design on various types of building structures (metal houses, steel framed building, RC buildings).

I have developed this website to share my knowledge on steel structures and offer my services for structural design and consultancy.

Damage Evaluation of fire damaged building mainly including non destructive testing of fire exposed columns

Design of single family residential units in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona, USA. All units were designed with light gauge steel framing in Framebuilder-MRD. Three different types of designs were made: Double storey residential unit with duo pitched rood, an A-frame cabin, and container box design.
